Jennifer Kang

Jennifer has almost 20 years of actuarial experience across capital, reserving and pricing. She started her career at PwC, and then became an independent consultant for a variety of insurance companies and Lloyd's syndicates, as well as the UK regulator. Jennifer previously led the review process of various IMAP submissions for the UK regulator.

Patrick Crellin

(FIA), Reserving

Profile Picture

Patrick is a qualified actuary with more than 15 years experience in general insurance. He started his career in personal lines before moving into the London Market working on reserving at AIG. He spent several years at Navigators syndicate working on reserving, capital modelling and pricing, including three years as European Chief Actuary. Since leaving Navigators he has worked on capital and reserving projects for other Lloyd's syndicates.

Axit Patel

(FIA), IFRS 17

Profile Picture

Axit is a qualified actuary with over 15 years of actuarial experience with roles across ALM, banking, insurance and consultancy. He started his career in investment consulting before transferring to the general insurance sector. He has expertise in IFRS 17 with recent roles including as a Global Design Lead for a major multi-national, and as a Group IFRS 17 lead for another multi-national.  He has also focussed on capital modelling and validation, with roles across personal lines and Lloyd’s syndicates. He is interested in systems and technology and was a Non-Executive Director at a technology start-up providing independent review and challenge to the Board, with a focus on strategy and financial projections.

Alun Hoang

(FIA), Pricing

Profile Picture

Alun is a qualified actuary with more than 15 years of general insurance experience across all actuarial areas. Recently, he has specialised in pricing, business intelligence and performance monitoring, adding significant value for clients at the front line. He is familiar with pricing regulatory requirements, having undertaken multiple pricing model audits and assisted Lloyd’s in developing their pricing practices. He is able to identify pragmatic solutions to deliver the end-to-end pricing process from model specifications, building models, pricing metrics, monitoring, reporting, underwriting strategy and business intelligence.

Alexandra Lypynska

(FIA), Risk & Capital

Profile Picture

Alexandra is a qualified actuary with more than 10 years of experience. She started her career in Central and Eastern Europe, holding senior positions in Risk Management and Actuarial, before joining the London office of AIG in 2012 to work on the internal model development and IMAP. Alexandra has worked on several successful model build, IMAP and model validation projects at AIG, ProSight (Lloyds syndicate) and Direct Line Group among other clients.

Dale Cleaver

Project Management

Profile Picture

Prince 2 qualified project manager and Scrum Alliance qualified scrum master with over 10 years experience in project management and over 30 years in UK financial services. The majority of projects have been regulatory and/or compliance led with IFRS17 and IMAP at Admiral, following Lloyds Blackhorse enriched date to Credit Reference Agencies, Nationwide Building Society digital banking resilience and Barclaycard transition from FSA to FCA some of the most recent projects. Other key regulatory projects were the Legal & General Endowment Mortgage Review and Pension Review, which means Dale has direct experience of most retail finance products.
